The Grand Continent
Helios
The Helios continent and the home of humanity. This sprawling mass of land is separated into four great nations: the Westlands, the Eastlands, the Southlands, and the Northlands. Many other nations exist in and around these central regions, but none are as powerful nor as influencial as the four that reign supreme. Each one has their own heaven of gods which rule over the countries and have dictated them since mankind's mysterious beginnings.

The Westlands
Once the land of endless turmoil and war, the man known as "the chosen one" united the Westlands and brought a new era of prosperity and strength upon its people.
Known for its inventive cities, world-renowned heroes, beautiful plains and forests, and excellent cuisine, the hero King Arthur watches dutifully over it all, even in his old age.
The Southlands
Though the deserts of the south are hot and unforgiving, its people are strong and hearty. The Southlands may lack the unity of the Westlands, but it is still a bustling haven for trade and adventures looking vast treasures.
Riddled with abandoned ancient cities, lost history, and unmapped territories, the Southlands are a dream for architects and explorers alike.

The Northlands
Home of the Northland Giants, these people are huge and muscular, adapted to survive the freezing cold temperatures and rugged mountain terrain of the north.
Being so high up, it is said that this region is closest to the heavens and there are even legends of a mountain with a stairway to Valhalla.
The Eastlands
Not much is known about the Eastlands as they had broken off from the world a millennia prior.
Surrounded by an endless mountain range, there is a single pass between this land and the other grand nations; and it is a dangerous one. In fact, only three individuals have made the journey through alive in recent centuries: King Arthur, Kintaro, and the mysterious Merchant of Joy.

Other Places
From heaven to hell, these are the places beyond human understanding (and everything in between)
